Elizabeth Lee, group head, Edelman Digital

Elizabeth is the Group Head for Edelman Digital's New York Practice. She currently manages the digital business and leads collaboration of digital engagement across all of Edelman's core areas of marketing and communications - Consumer Marketing, Health and Corporate - with a specialty in Social Media.

Elizabeth is the Group Head for Edelman Digital's New York Practice. She currently manages the digital business and leads collaboration of digital engagement across all of Edelman's core areas of marketing and communications – Consumer Marketing, Health and Corporate – with a specialty in Social Media.

During her eight years with Edelman Digital, she has played a multi-disciplinary role. She has played a key role in strategic planning, business development and marketing for the past 4 years. Prior to this, she managed client services spanning traditional website development to digital account planning. Her marketing specialty roles include search engine optimization and social media community management.  As Edelman's first conversation research analyst, Elizabeth led the development of our leadership in helping pioneer the conversation research space with key partners such as Nielsen. During this time, Elizabeth oversaw our research, analytics and insights development for several Microsoft products as well as various other consumer and healthcare clients. She leveraged key audience insights from consumer and stakeholder conversations occurring within online communities such as blogs and message boards to develop digital engagement strategies and programming.

Over the years, Elizabeth has been integral to establishing our Edelman Digital's relationships with key marketing partners, such as Facebook, Google/YouTube and other emerging technologies, sites and platforms. She helps clients leverage opportunities to build custom solutions across paid, earned and owned digital channels –distributing content and developing a brand presence across the web, within social channels and via mobile.

Elizabeth joined Edelman with experience in PR and project management. She previously worked within Ruder Finn's Technology Practice in NYC and began her interactive experience assisting the launches of SF-based websites during the dot.com boom.

Elizabeth is a graduate of the College of William and Mary, Williamsburg, VA, where she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing and Operations & Information Technology.
