LONDON: UK-based media outlet The Guardian is searching for an agency as it expands its US footprint, it is understood.
“We are considering a number of options, but no decisions have been made yet,” said a spokesperson for Guardian News & Media, who declined further comment.
The newspaper launched a US-focused homepage last month and it is expanding its US editorial team. The outlet's US editor-in-chief, Janine Gibson, said in a blog post last month that the newspaper is “hiring a new US team of writers, technologists, and editors to work with journalists from the UK to combine the Guardian's internationalist, digital journalism with American voices and expertise.”
