NEW YORK: Peppercom has formed a strategic alliance with London-based firm Flagship Consulting in an effort to expand its integrated communications and marketing services to UK and European clients.
Peppercom also plans to take an equity stake in Flagship by the end of this year, said Edward Moed, managing partner and co-founder of Peppercom.
The partnership, effective immediately, brings together both agencies' offerings, including digital and social media strategy, campaign management, PR, crisis communications, creative services, editorial development, licensing, and Web development.
The relationship between the two firms is “very strong both professionally and culturally,” said Moed. Twelve-year-old Flagship, which has 16 employees, has a client list including Norwegian Cruise Lines and human resources firm ADP.
Two Peppercom clients, which Moed declined to identify due to confidentiality agreements, are using the partnership at launch. A global business association is working with the agencies to build visibility with a UK-based campaign. A financial advisory firm, meanwhile, is using executive-level messaging and positioning services, media and presentation training, and consulting services.
"The key thing about this is that we see a lot of great value in the training that we are going to do together on the social and digital side, [as well as] how we can work together to just provide knowledge as well," he said.
