LONDON: UK-based integrated communications agency Hotwire expanded to the US today with the launch of offices in New York and San Francisco.US CEO Isabel Fox will lead the firm's North American operations, supported by MD Kelley Joyce. Fox and Joyce will manage a team of seven US employees and a roster of tech clients including InMobi, Intel Capital, Silicon Valley Bank, and Wellington Partners.
Both Fox and Joyce previously worked at IF Communications.Brendon Craigie, group CEO of Hotwire, said the US expansion will allow the agency to grow its footprint and better serve clients globally.
“The fact that so many of our clients are US clients and the fact that so much exciting innovation is coming out of the US and being exported to Europe, it just seemed to be a no-brainer,” Craigie said. Fox will report to Craigie, who said IF's US operations will be brought under the Hotwire brand but declined to describe the deal as a merger.
“This is not just about serving existing Hotwire clients; this is about connecting with the innovators and entrepreneurs that are growing new businesses in North America,” Craigie added. “And that's an area where [Fox] is incredibly well connected, so it makes her the perfect person to lead our US operation.”
