NEW YORK: Edelman's StrategyOne unit has launched Sunrise, a multi-language digital media measurement and analytics tool, in collaboration with social media monitoring service provider Crimson Hexagon.
The platform was created based on feedback from clients, said Steve Lombardo, global CEO of StrategyOne.
"With a lot of the tools out there today, we thought some were underwhelming in that they only did a sampling of the media," he said. "The second thing was that there was a tendency to just present volume or sentiment - just numbers without the strategic insights."
The tool also features analysis of conversations on online news sites, blogs, Twitter, Facebook, and message boards.
The concept of Sunrise is “not really asking how did we do, but more about telling our clients where they're going, rather than where they've been,” said Lombardo.
The companies will release a second version of Sunrise early next year, he added.
