NEW YORK: Burson-Marsteller has hired Kenneth Hartmann and Patrick Kerley as directors in the firm's digital practice.
Both will report to US digital practice chair Michael Bassik, with Hartmann based in New York and Kerley in Washington.
Hartmann joined the agency from Wildfire Interactive, where he advised clients on cross-channel social marketing strategy. Previously, he worked as an interactive specialist for brand programs at Bunchball, an API provider of game mechanics.
Kerley joined Burson from Levick Strategic Communications, where he led digital and social media strategy for clients seeking crisis and reputation management services. Previously, he was director of technology and online communications for former US Sen. Ted Stevens (R-AK).
