MAYNARD, MA: Janet Swaysland, SVP of global corporate communications and social media at Monster Worldwide, recently left the company.
Swaysland said via email that she is “considering a number of very interesting opportunities,” but declined to comment on the details of her departure. She worked as Monster's SVP for more than two and a half years.
Monster, the parent company of job-search site Monster.com, confirmed Swaysland is no longer with the company, but would not comment further on the issue.
Swayland was president of Brodeur Worldwide from 1996 to 2003. Prior to joining Monster, she was a partner at marketing services firm Beeline Labs, now Human 1.0. Swaysland also previously served as partner at communications strategies company Foghound Corporation for two years.
