Burson-Marsteller China appoints Zhao EVP

SHANGHAI, CHINA: Burson-Marsteller China has named David Zhao EVP.

SHANGHAI, CHINA: Burson-Marsteller China has named David Zhao EVP.

His role will involve client counsel, thought leadership, and input on talent and business development. Zhao will also work with Chris Deri, CEO of Burson-Marsteller China, on acquisition and partnership opportunities.

He will also take a leadership role in the agency's China group, expanding the firm's crisis-training offerings and products.

Zhao will report to Chris Deri, CEO of Burson-Marsteller China.

Previously, the MD of Hill & Knowlton's China practice, Zhao has also held in-house communications and marketing roles at Coca-Cola and Bausch & Lomb.
