ANNAPOLIS, MD: The US Department of Agriculture (USDA) Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service has selected Crosby Marketing Communications and CarrotNewYork as its AORs for the “Hungry Pests” public education campaign.
The initiative calls attention to several invasive pests that threaten agriculture, forests, and other natural resources. The agencies will use a mix of public service campaigns, publicity, social media, and online engagement to reach consumers, businesses, and specialized audiences, such as gardeners and outdoor enthusiasts.
Crosby has worked with the USDA on public awareness campaigns about invasive pests for seven years.
