CHICAGO: Free the Children, a charity and education organization, has hired Current as its US AOR.
Current's lifestyle marketing team began pro-bono work with the organization in October for its annual Halloween for Hunger campaign, a one-day food drive that takes place in Canada.
The Interpublic Group agency will also support Free the Children's 2013 “We Day” event. The event, which will focus on youth empowerment, will feature performers and social justice leaders. The group works with more than 3,500 schools and youth groups in North America.
Other Current clients include The Clorox Company, Hoover, Mars, and Samsung Home Appliances.
