Twitter should block a few handles that are pro-Taliban, say several members of Congress. The effort is being led by Sen. Joe Lieberman (I-Conn.), the chair of the Homeland Security Committee.

Some of the Twitter feeds that the Homeland Security Committee is looking to remove include @ABalkhi, which has more than 4,200 followers, and @alemarahweb, which has more than 6,300 followers.

However, Twitter has frequently stood its ground on providing a free platform for free speech, no matter the speaker.
