CHICAGO: Unilever Ice Cream has hired GolinHarris as its AOR to support the Breyers, Popsicle, Klondike and Good Humor brands.
The agency will be charged with developing public relations strategies focused on brand building, new product introductions, buzz marketing, and health and wellness communication.
"We were looking for an agency with significant consumer marketing experience, and a proven track record of supporting major brands in an impactful way," stated Dan Hammer, VP of marketing for Unilever Ice Cream in a statement. "GolinHarris met those key requirements but also impressed us with their creativity and their consumer-focused approach to program development."
The account will be handled from GH's Chicago office, by Patti Temple Rocks, EVP and director of the consumer brands group, and Carrie von der Sitt, VP. GH starts work immediately.
