LOS ANGELES, CA: Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM) has named Jeff Pryor to the newly created post of EVP of corporate communications, effective immediately.
Pryor, who will report to MGM chairman Harry Sloan, will handle media relations and PR for all of MGM divisions including Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Pictures, United Artists Films, MGM Television Entertainment, MGM Networks, and consumer products. He will also handle global communications.
Pryor joins MGM from the Los Angeles-based public relations agency, Priority Public Relations, which he founded as Pryor & Associates in 1990. Among projects he handled was the launch of the National Geographic Channel. With Pryor's departure, Kristien Brada-Thompson will run operations for the agency in Los Angeles and Marylou Johnston in Europe.
