LONDON: WPP today reported that PR grew 18.7% in 2005, representing 10% of its overall revenue.
The holding company's PR offerings also experienced the greatest organic growth – 7.5% – among its communications disciplines. PR and public affairs generated $931.93 million in 2005. The results reflect WPP's March 2005 acquisition of Grey Global Group.
US revenue grew 25.9% in constant currency, to $3.67 billion. Overall, WPP's reportable revenue grew 36% to $46.53 billion last year.
