Blackboard taps Fleishman for broad outreach

WASHINGTON: Blackboard, a provider of e-software and services to the education industry, has named Fleishman-Hillard its AOR.

WASHINGTON: Blackboard, a provider of e-software and services to the education industry, has named Fleishman-Hillard its AOR.

Blackboard said Fleishman will act as an extension of Blackboard's marketing team. Blackboard recently completed a merger with WebCT, a provider of e-learning systems for educational institutions.

As a result of its partnership with WebCT, Blackboard said it will now focus its efforts on trying to move the education industry forward through product innovations, while leveraging its network of clients and users worldwide.

Fleishman said it will help Blackboard reach these users to foster collaboration via a variety of communication tools.
