Chin promoted to global role

NEW YORK: Burson-Marsteller has promoted Curtis Chin as managing director, global business and client development.

NEW YORK: Burson-Marsteller has promoted Curtis Chin as managing director, global business and client development.

Chin will also continue as a managing director in Burson’s US public affairs practice and MD in the firm’s Asia-Pacific operations, reporting to Mark Penn, the firm’s worldwide president and CEO. 

He has worked in the firm’s Beijing, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Washington, and New York offices.  He also served in the President George H.W. Bush Administration as a special assistant to the US Secretary of Commerce.  During the George W. Bush Administration, Chin served on the US Department of State’s advisory committee on cultural diplomacy.
