Coke promotes global corporate comms director

ATLANTA: The Coca-Cola Company has named Ben Deutsch director of corporate communications for worldwide public affairs and communications, effective immediately.

ATLANTA: The Coca-Cola Company has named Ben Deutsch director of corporate communications for worldwide public affairs and communications, effective immediately.

Deutsch, an employee of Coca-Cola for the past 13 years, will position the company, senior management, and brands with the media and promote the company’s reputation among shareowners, customers, and consumers. He will also be in charge of all corporate communications in support of the finance, legal, human resources, marketing, strategy and innovation functions. He replaces Lee Winfield, who has assumed the newly-created position of director of executive communications.

Deutsch had served as director of financial communications for the past three years. He will now report to Tom Mattia, Coke SVP and director of worldwide public affairs and communications.
