Dybul was sworn in as the US State Department's new US global AIDS coordinator, replacing former Eli Lilly CEO Randall Tobias, who was the first person to hold the position and has been designated the new director of the US agency for international development. Dybul since March has been the acting US global AIDS coordinator.
