NEW YORK: Ellen Shedlarz is leaving her position as chief talent officer at Hill and Knowlton to serve as chief of operations for Linda Reifler, Morgan Stanley's chief talent officer.

Shedlarz joined H&K in September 2002, to take on the newly created position for the agency.

"She's going to be greatly missed," said Paul Taaffe, chairman and global CEO of H&K. "She mainly came on board to create a global standard for how we appraise our staff and how we train our staff, and she's completed that exercise."

Taaffe said the agency was looking for a replacement, but in the meantime the agency's regional HR infrastructure will fill in.
