"I blog for any number of reasons. Like Leslie, I want to be able to walk the walk and counsel clients based upon first-hand experience. Second, I love to write, and enjoy the daily challenge of finding something new that impacts someone's or something's image or reputation. Thirdly, I've always prefered to take the road less traveled, so I find that blogging enables me to communicate my slightly different, slightly irreverent views on breaking news, conventional wisdom, and political correctness without worrying if it will impact my agency's business. Blogging enables me to share my less-than-traditional views of business and myself: namely, that I think far too many people in business take themselves far too seriously.

I like to have fun with my blog and love nothing more than to hear from a reader that I've put a smile on his or her face. If I've also made them think or, perhaps, see things in a slightly different way, then I feel as if I've really accomplished something special. Like exercise, blogging is a very cool thing that's become an essential part of my everyday life. How, I wonder, did I ever exist before the blogosphere?
