PRSA approves amendements to bylaws
News in Brief
SALT LAKE CITY: The Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Assembly approved four amendments to its governing bylaws during its annual business meeting, held Saturday, Nov. 11, prior to the start of the PRSA 2006 International Conference. One amendment will allow PRSSA members to become Associate Members of PRSA five months prior to graduation, while another amendment puts a two-year term limit on members of the nominating committee. It also defeated an amendment that would have made the assembly, rather than the board, "the ultimate policy-making body of the Society."
