PARIS: Sanofi-Aventis has chosen Euro RSCG C<&>O to handle corporate communications. It will manage internal communications from the pharma giant's Paris headquarters, as well as assist on its annual report.

In addition, Sanofi has retained Euro RSCG Life to serve as the global agency charged with all communications for Lovenox/Clezane, a thrombosis treatment, Lantus and Apidra, two diabetes treatments, as well as all communications for new brands in those two therapeutic domains.

Sanofi declined to comment on the move, but the announcement will make it one of Havas Group's top three clients. The relationship with Euro is not expected to affect Sanofi's work with other firms.
