Fudge ends Y&R leadership

NEW YORK: Ann Fudge, who has served as chairman and CEO of Young & Rubicam brands since 2003, is retiring. The company has not named a successor. Fudge has not led the advertising agency Y&R, the most prominent division of the company, since last summer, when Hamish McLennan took over as CEO. With her elevation to the leadership position of Young & Rubicam, Fudge became the highest-ranking African-American woman in advertising.
