NASCAR was everywhere in New York City last week as it celebrated the end of its 2006 season here with its annual Champion's Week series of events. The week was capped off with the NASCAR Nextel Cup Series black-tie Awards Ceremony and mega-bash at the Waldorf Astoria.

Andrew Giangola, NASCAR's director of business communications, spoke with PRWeek about the ups and downs of this past year and what is in store for NASCAR and its fans and sponsors in 2007.
