Sernovitz to step down from WOMMA
CHICAGO: Andy Sernovitz will leave his position as CEO of the Word of Mouth Marketing Association to take on new projects, including "consulting, writing, speaking, teaching, and helping a few startups." In a letter emailed to WOMMA members, Sernovitz said he would start his new activities on April 1, after his contract with WOMMA expires. Sernovitz became CEO of WOMMA upon its founding in 2004. In that time, he has expanded the organization from a relative handful of members into one that boasts more than 300 members, including most of the largest PR firms in America.
