DULLES, VA: John Buckley is leaving his position as EVP of corporate communications at AOL after more than five years with the company, four of them in the EVP role.
Tricia Primrose Wallace will assume the role of EVP of corporate communications, effective immediately. Her previous title was VP of corporate communications at AOL. Primrose Wallace has been with AOL for about nine years; she was a former VP at Time Warner.
Buckley's departure coincides with those of Jim Bankoff, EVP, consumer and publisher services; and Joe Redling, president, AOL Mobile, and chairman and CEO, AOL International.
These are the most recent in a series of changes at the company. In November, former NBC executive Randy Falco replaced Jonathan Miller as CEO and chairman. Buckley's departure is tied to the new CEO, said Andrew Weinstein, spokesman for AOL.
"He chose to leave… after the change in management," he added.
