Institute for Public Relations announces new trustees

GAINESVILLE, FL: The Institute of Public Relations has announced a new slate of trustees for the 2007-2009 term, as the nonprofit continues to broaden its international position. Newly elected international members of the board are Matthew Anderson, group director for communications and brand marketing for British Sky Broadcasting; and Ernst Primosch, corporate VP with Henkel KFaA. Also newly elected are Tony Cervone, VP, communications for General Motors; Thomas G. Mattia, SVP worldwide public affairs and communications for The Coca-Cola Company; MaryLee Sachs, chairman of Hill & Knowlton USA and director of worldwide marketing communications practice; and Arthur E.F. Wiese, VP of corporate communications for the Energy Corporation. Peter Debreceny, VP of corporate relations for the Allstate Insurance Company, has been re-elected to chair of the board.
