WOODLAND HILLS, CA: Bentley Motors has selected JMPR Public Relations as its North American AOR after a four-year period of handling all PR in-house.JMPR is tasked with aiding media outreach, new product debuts, sponsorships, and special projects. Other tasks will include development and implementation of creative PR campaigns and event assistance.
David Reuter, director of PR, The Americas, said that while the company will continue to focus on business and automotive media, it would look to JMPR to help it reach out to the lifestyle press.
"Adding an agency gives us an outside perspective and allows us to get into places that we haven't before today," Reuter said.
Bentley's recently launched convertible, the Continental GTC, was named car of the year by luxury magazine Robb Report.
Bentley previously worked with JMPR before taking PR in-house.
Billings are undisclosed for the one-year contract, which will be subject to renewal.
