NEW YORK: PR Newswire (PRN) has signed an agreement with TimesSquare2, a division of Reuters, to make PRN's customers' photos available on the Reuters sign in Times Square.
The 7,000-square-foot sign will feature a regular stream of PRN client photos throughout the day, accompanied by the news release headline. The sign reportedly reaches 1.5 million people daily.
"Clients have been asking for more opportunities to reach the mass audiences directly," noted Dan Hennes, director of photo services at PRN.
This agreement accompanies the launch of PRN's Internet photo distribution service, which will place client photos on more than 175 Web sites, including Yahoo and MarketWatch. Clients can add the Internet photo distribution option to any news release.
