DALLAS: Greyhound has selected Edelman as its general market AOR and the Vidal Partnership as its Hispanic AOR.
Kim Plaskett, director of corporate communications at Greyhound, said the agencies will be charged with handling a variety of assignments.
"Obviously we want them involved providing PR support for any marketing campaigns we might be doing, if it makes sense," Plaskett said. "We'll also be looking at other projects we can do independently of those marketing campaigns."
The account will be led out of Edelman's San Francisco office and Vidal's New York office. The agencies will begin working on the account starting April 1.
The company also selected Butler, Shine, Stern & Partners as its new advertising AOR.
The advertising-led pitch required participating ad agencies to bring in either their in-house PR staff or agencies they had prior relationships with.
Historically, Greyhound has worked with a variety of agencies on a project basis.
