We recently wrote about the Susan Magrino Agency winning
the Space Adventures account. Space Adventures is the company that sends people into space for approx. $20 million. One of the interesting things they're doing, I think, is trying to build up the (obvious) luxury angle to the trip. So they get famous chefs and personalities, like Martha Stewart, to pick the traveller's
space menu. Well, the most recent one went into space today. And here's his menu.
The menu includes quail roasted in Madiran wine, duck breast confit with capers, shredded chicken parmentier, apple fondant pieces, rice pudding with candied fruit, and semolina cake with dried apricots.
If someone from SMA
is out there, I'd love to hear if the menu story was pitched to food pubs/blogs.
