During the Republican presidential debate, candidates were asked if they didn't believed in evolution. Exactly 30% raised their hands: Rep. Tom Tancredo of Colorado, Sen. Sam Brownback of Kansas, and former Governor Mike Huckabee of Arkansas.

Jonah Goldberg, of the National Review, was dismayed.

Should make for some interesting science comms.

(Washington, D.C.) – In answer to media inquiries regarding Congressman Tom Tancredo’s (R-CO) response to the question on evolution in last night’s debate, the congressman stated: “Evolution explains changes in life. Creationism explains its origin”.
