M & R adds Roth as SVP

WASHINGTON: M & R Strategic Services (M&R) has named 15-year media relations executive Susan Roth as SVP of the firm's communications division. In her new role, Roth will provide strategic direction and leadership in the areas of communications planning and media-relations strategy to clients in the public-interest and advocacy arena. Prior to joining M+R, Roth held management positions for companies including the Walt Disney Company and Universal Studios; she also led the national launch of XM Satellite Radio. As president of Roth PR, Roth generated national media coverage for United Animal Nations' work during Hurricane Katrina, and the 9/11 volunteer initiative One Day's Pay.
