Jim Craig, VP for policy and communications at API, said activity at the institute was “hot and heavy” with regards to media inquiries.
One of the new tacts the API is taking in terms of its outreach efforts is to target bloggers.
“It’s a little bit new for us but we’ve been engaged with bloggers,” Craig said. “We’ve been doing blog conferences on the topic [of increasing gas prices]. We’re really engaged with them now.”
