SOMERSET, NJ:InVentiv Health, which acquired Chandler Chicco Agency (CCA) last month for $65 million, has announced Q2 revenues were up 27% from a year ago, with its communications division showing strong growth.

Q2 revenue was $232.4 million, compared to $183 million for the same period in 2006. For inVentiv Communications, its PR arm, total revenue was $85.7 million, up 33% from a year ago. A company statement said growth in the communications sector was fueled by new wins in both the agency and patient-compliance businesses.

In February, the company announced the acquisition of New York-based Chamberlain Communications for $13 million in cash and stock. CCA makes the company the world's largest independent healthcare agency.

Q2 results include figures from Chamberlain, but not CCA.
