Michael Deaver dies

WASHINGTON: Michael Deaver, vice chairman of Edelman, died yesterday, at 8:00 am. He was 69. He had been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2006. The former deputy chief of staff for President Ronald Reagan joined Edelman in 1992 as VP. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Carolyn Deaver; and two children, Amanda and Blair Deaver.
