DC tourism group hires Burson

WASHINGTON: The Washington, DC, Convention and Tourism Corporation (WCTC), the prime marketing association for DC businesses, has hired Burson-Marsteller to develop a new branding campaign that will include PR and advertising. In addition, WCTC has hired DataNet Systems and Pappas Group to rebuild the organization’s Web site, at www.washington.org. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
