In March, I reported on the communications efforts behind the HBO documentary series The Addiction Project. The series has gone on to win the Governors Honors at this year's Creative Arts Emmy awards ceremony, which took place on September 8. The award recognizes people and organizations involved with social causes. Two of the National Institutes of Health involved with the project - the National Institute on Drug Abuse and the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism - have today issued a release acknowledging the award.
