Fenton pushes Conyers universal health bill

The Politico's Ryan Grim writes about Congressman John Conyers Jr.'s decision to bring in Fenton Communications: an attempt to gain traction for his universal healthcare bill. The bill would create a single-payer system, unlike the plans from the various candidates for president, which might create the opportunity for awkward votes from those candidates. At the end of the story we get this gem of a quote:

“Fran Drescher: that’s a communications strategy. You know, celebrities, stars,” he says. “Who’s that other guy? Oh God, my man: Jim Carville.”
