WHAM-O, Pollack PR team for 60th anniversary campaign

LOS ANGELES: The Pollack PR Marketing Group (PPMG) has expanded its relationship with client WHAM-O to commemorate the toy company’s 60-year anniversary in 2008. In its expanded services, PPMG will design and execute both a traditional anniversary PR effort, as well as create several Web-based interactive and user-generated contests and co-promotions to broaden WHAM-O brand awareness among younger consumers. Additionally, PPMG will take “Team WHAM-O” on the road to regional festivals and street fairs, to showcase legendary WHAM-O toys including the original Frisbee, Hula Hoop, and Hacky Sack.
