Turkey hires Fleishman for image building

WASHINGTON: The government of Turkey has hired Fleishman-Hillard to help improve the image of the country in the US. Under a six-month contract worth $113,683 per month and which ends March 3, 2008, Fleishman will provide media relations, stakeholder outreach, research, and online communications on behalf of the Turkish embassy, according to a Justice Department filing. Online work will include revamped Web sites and blogs.
