Bed nets for free

There has been a long-running debate about how to best distribute malaria nets in Africa. Today, the New York Times takes a fresh look at the debate and declares a winner:

“The time for social marketing of bed nets in a big way is over,” Dr. Kochi said in an interview. “It can become a supplemental strategy for urban areas and middle-income countries.”
