While we will continue to pursue long-form articles, both in print and online, we are increasing our dedication to create and accept short-form content that quickly and succinctly gets to the heart of a communications challenge or opportunity, or dissects an aspect of the industry that requires further attention.
As such, we’re looking for short (250-300 word essays/op-eds/blog posts (to use the 21st century parlance) to help contribute to our new Web site. Submissions received by Thursday, October 18 will have a good chance to run on the Web site during the opening week of our relaunch.
Like any print editorial or op-ed, the piece must be focused, well-written, absent of heavy promotional material, and providing sustentative proof to any claims. PRWeek.com reserves the right to reject any submission, of course.
You may choose the focus of the piece, provided that it would fit into PRWeek’s coverage area, which is, today, pretty broad.
If you have any questions, please contact keith.obrien@prweek.com or alexandra.bruell@prweek.com. Submissions should go to both alexandra.bruell@prweek.com and keith.obrien@prweek.com.
