Kraft Foods appoints new CMO
Kraft Foods has named Mary Beth West its new CMO, the Chicago Tribune is reporting. West, a former group VP, has been with Kraft for 21 years and will start her new post as EVP and CMO immediately. The CMO spot has been empty since late spring, when Jeri Finard resigned after only seven months. Kraft said Finard was leaving for what it described as personal reasons. West has held a variety of positions at Kraft. Most recently she served as group vice president of Kraft Foods and president of North America beverages, overseeing coffee and other beverage brands. She will report directly to Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Irene Rosenfeld.
