AUSTIN, TX: Former White House counselor Dan Bartlett has joined Public Strategies as a senior strategist. During his seven years in the Bush administration, Bartlett oversaw strategic communications planning and policy formulation and was in charge of the White House press office and the offices of communications, media affairs, and speechwriting. Prior to beginning service to Bush in 1993 during Bush’s campaign for Texas governor, Bartlett worked for the Austin-based political consulting firm Karl Rove and Company.
