BM appoints Rice director of US Hispanic capability

NEW YORK: Burson-Marsteller has appointed Theresa Rice as director of its US Hispanic capability. Rice will be based in the firm’s Miami office and report to Mireille Grangenois, managing director of BM’s Washington-based US multicultural practice. Rice will work with professionals from the multicultural practice group across the country. Previously, she was Latin American regional practice chair for BM travel and tourism, overseeing the work of nearly 20 professionals in the US, Canada, and Latin America. She began her career with BM in 2003 after working as a communications consultant both on the agency and corporate side, and following a decade as a journalist in the US and Latin America.
