Pryde named XBRL US VP

WASHINGTON: Campbell Pryde has been named VP of domain and chief standards officer for XBRL US, the nonprofit consortium for XML business reporting standards in the US. Pryde will play a key role in developing and maintaining XBRL taxonomies. Previously, Pryde was an executive director in the institutional securities group at Morgan Stanley. He has been involved with XBRL since 2001, most recently as chairman of the XBRL US Domain Steering Committee, which is responsible for setting the strategic direction for development of the XBRL US GAAP taxonomies.
