Brunswick aids Dillard's

LITTLE ROCK, AR: Dillard's, the fashion and home furnishing retailer, has hired Brunswick Group to aid in the proxy challenge proposed by activist investor organizations Barington Capital Group and Clinton Group. The investment firms seek to nominate four people to the company's board of directors at the annual shareholders meeting taking place May 17. Among the nominees are James Mitarotonda, Barington's chief executive, and Nick White, a former Wal-Mart executive.
