VMS announces enhancements to two offerings

SAN FRANCISCO: VMS recently added new capabilities to its radio and news transcript offerings, so that each VMS-monitored radio news segment now includes text, a link to the associated audio file, and the ability to preview an entire news clip. The offering, called QuickListen, builds upon the proprietary speech-to-text technology that the company introduced last year. In addition, TV news segments now feature a QuickView video clip or a QuickListen audio clip in addition to the verbatim text transcript of selected news programs.
