Havas reports Q1 earnings of $551M

PARIS: Havas reported first-quarter revenue of approximately $551 million, up 2.5% compared with 2007. The holding company said organic growth totaled 7.4%, based on constant exchange rates and excluding acquisitions.

PARIS: Havas reported first-quarter revenue of approximately $551 million, up 2.5% compared with 2007. The holding company said organic growth totaled 7.4%, based on constant exchange rates and excluding acquisitions.

European revenue totaled $316 million for the quarter, North American revenue stood at $182 million, and Latin American and Asia Pacific revenue accounted for about $53 million.

New accounts won by subsidiary Euro RSCG Worldwide during the quarter included the LendingTree, L'Oreal, Nivea, BNP Paribas, Humana, Wyeth, Sanofi Aventis, easyJet.com, Volvo, Carrefour, and McDonald's.
